Did you see the comment about the caramel made in a bacon skillet? I don't know if I would want my caramel to taste like bacon?

I came back after looking up my posting info......only to find that my last post DID work..and you have seen it.
I look forward to trying caramel again. Thanks for the Dave tips! My problem seems to be knowing when it is that proper color of brown before it's burned.
I also want to try the mushroom soup. I had it opened on the counter before you left. Dad was excited about it!
